My clients are adults who may be experiencing challenges with addiction as seen through anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, trauma, grief, and loss. I am a firm supporter of active listening being an antidote to the impersonality of our ever-increasingly hectic lives. My counseling style is a collaboration of strength-based approaches coupled with allowing people to recognize and then utilize their inner wisdom and resources. I believe that every person has a story, and I am fascinated to hear of their journey through challenges, interests, struggles, and achievements. I am interested in helping people alter their past patterns that may not have been productive and grow toward success. I specialize in the treatment of substance abuse disorders. I welcome your call so that we may begin the emotional healing process.
